Florida DE Gets Offer

6-2,230 Defensive End Ricky Booker of Orlando FL has offers from Auburn and Notre Dame. He attends Dr. Phillips HS in Orlando. Here is a quote from an article by John Talman at Rivals:

"I like Notre Dame's graduation rate," Booker said. "In the near future, I'm going to have to make a decision about what I want to do for the rest of my life. Football is not always going to be there. The key is to get a good education while I play sports.

He also said he likes Auburn's tradition of putting players in the NFL.

Compare this quote to Luther Davis' quote about Florida's coaches wanting to make sure he's fully qualified. This is a Notre Dame guy. Wherever he goes, that's the right attitude.
