I kind of wish that all parents, of student-athletes, were in a position to ask that their child stay in school. I do realize that some just aren't in that position so I don't always knock kids for leaving early. It is good though seeing a family push for a kids education though. Way to go T'EO family.

Before I started reading, saw the picture in the upper right corner and noticed the new tattoo. Very nice.

Reading this reminded me of the college days of another well known athlete - Grant Hill. Grant always carried himself with a higher level of class and dignity and held himself to a higher standard. I remember when people were surprised when Grant stayed all four years at Duke, but he made the commitment to Coach K and he kept it despite the fact that he could have been a lottery pick after his junior year.

I see a lot of the same characteristics in Manti. He just seems to hold himself to a higher standard. Young men like this do not come around too often - especially ones with so much talent.

He has everything in the world going for him:

* Great family
* Great education (working towards it)
* Great athlete
* Great looks

This is the kid every parent dreams of having; and the man every woman dreams of marrying.
