Dump the fullback position and create an H-bak position

Honestly fullback has been a huge weakness on this team for several years now, we're just not getting the blocking we need from them and we never get a single yard when they carry the ball. They just aren't a threat to opposing teams, its like playing offense with 10 players. At the same time we are very deep at tight end, so much talent that we need to some how get them on the field. So why not create an H-back position like Washington redskins do with Cooley? Having Ragone out there instead of Schwapp is much more dangerous for opposing defenses, Ragone is big, fast, tall, a huge big play threat, and tough for defenses to deal with. Instead of opposing defenses having to deal with 4 possible threats(2 WR's, RB, and a TE) they'll have to deal with 5. Schmidt can also play H-back cause hes pretty tall and has good hands.

Golden Tate would make a good halfback

He would not be a good H-Back because of his size. H-Backs are like FB/TE combo's that can be used in the backfield or from a TE spot. You have to be pretty big like a fullback or TE, but you also have to be a good reciever, and a decent blocker. Tate should be fine at WR where is is now.

I think we should make big change at FB. Luke should be the starter. He has great hands, running ability and probably can block as well as Asaph. Move Shwapp to NG. He is beastly strong and built like a tank. I cannot picture any center getting leverage on him. Then you can move Kuntz to DE which is more natural for his build and with his tenacity we have some talent who will get after the QB. Asaph played D in high school, so its not like he doesn't know that side of the ball.

that's a pretty creative suggestion......I have not EVER been impressed by Shwapp's run game, but the dude has legs like tree trunks and NT would not be a bad idea in theory.
