Now I MUST do a thread on the most PATHETIC sports organization in the entire world of sports ALLTIME! And the winner is???? The Detroit Lions. Can anyone tell me how the fuck Matt Millen has a job? I will give you a few stats since 2001 when Matt Millen took over:
2001) 2 wins - 14 losses/Points scored-262/Points given up-424
2002) 3 wins - 13 losses/Points scored-265/Points given up-473
2003) 5 wins - 11 losses/Points scored-247/Points given up-412
2004) 6 wins - 10 losses/Points scored-256/Points given up-356
2005) 5 wins - 11 losses/Points scored-231/Points given up-398
2006 so far) 2 wins - 11 losses/Points scored-236/Points given up-334

Matt Millens overall record with Detroit Lions= 23 wins/70 losses (The most losses of any franchise in the span of the last 6 years)

Average points per game in last 6 seasons for Detroit= 17.0 ppg.
Average points given up by detroit in last 6 seasons= 26.6 ppg.

Those are just the key Statistics that I want to point out but there's plenty more of this under the "Millen file". The Detroit Lions are the most EMBARRASING organization in the entire world of sports history and it's not getting any better. In fact it's just getting worse. I'm ashamed to have this bad of a sports organization in my state of Michigan. What does William Clay Ford see in Millen? And finally I will leave all of us Notre Dame fans with just 3 words: Poor Brady Quinn. (and I know you know what I mean by that statement)

Yeah I dont want to see him as a raider either but I DEFINATELY dont want to see him wear a lion helmet. any kind of great talent that goes there dies in that graveyard at ford field. that place is doomed.

In Oakland there is always potential to do well. Not so much in Detroit. That team has been bad for all but 1 year of my 31 years existing in this world. I can seriously only remember one good lion team. QBs bust out in Detroit, which is why I don't want BQ to go out there. I like the guy too much. It would be nice of Detroit traded the pick away.

I dont know I think that Lions would be a good fit for Brady. There he would play in a Pass happy Mike Martz system. He would also have some weapons to distribute the ball to, especailly Roy Williams. If he went to the Raiders i think he could be in for a world of hurt with that O-line, however the raiders do have some Offensive weapons also. However, after watchin the raiders every week( I live in the bay area) I do not want him there. If I could pick one team for him to go to that has a chance to get him it would have to be the Tampa Bay Bucs. Their record is something like 3-10 so they have a chance to get him. Also in Tampa Bay he can be reunited with Maurice Stovall.
