...is about more than gap responsibility. I'm watching the Georgia Tech (same scheme as Navy) game against Clemson and the Tigers are having great success stopping the option thanks in large part to the speed of their defense. They're forcing GT into bad angles and are able to get men to the football on the pitch.
Getting speed and athleticism on defense will fix a lot of our issues.
