3rd page of that article talked about how USC is ducking Fresno State, so I wouldn't say the Article implied no one wants to play USC.

Fresno State will play anyone, anytime, anywhere. Pat Hill doesn't get as much credit as he deserves. I don't know what kind of people they bring in and how things are off the field, but the BCS Giants should be scared of this program should they schedule them.
