A big catch for the Irish

On what has already been a very big and very exciting day for Notre Dame fans the Irish managed to make to make it even better by landing a very big an important commitment from Deion Walker, a 6'4", 186 pound WR from Christchurch, VA. The Irish jumped in the game late on Deion, but were able to make up ground quickly because of the friendship that formed between Deion's dad, and Charlie Weis, as well as a couple of very good relationships between Deion and Jimmy Clausen and Dayne Crist. With Deion's commitment he bring the class back up to 22 verbal commitments and he very well could be the last one in the class unless the Irish pull off a few suprises. He chose the Irish over Penn State, Florida State, and Southern Cal.
