At least when SC has posted these twitter shots at Oregon after beating them in recruiting battles, the Ducks will get a chance to shut them up on September 26. USC doesn't have to "face the man" and play us after posting these weak internet trolls.

The USC rivalry always felt like a respectful one to me. After everything that has come out of their camp over the past two years, I have a feeling that when this series returns, it will have a MUCH different feeling.

I'm just glad I got to see the last ND/USC game in the LA Coliseum. Sitting in a USC section, talking/yelling incessantly from start to finish, and seeing the looks on the faces of their fair-weather fans is a memory I'll cherish forever. It was a calculated risk and confirmed my belief that USC doesn't even have actual fans- just people who show up to the game (sometimes) when they don't have anything better to do.

Which is why they'll continue doing it re: ND. They know they don't have to back it up.

Low class program and soft as soft gets. That'll continue under Riley; I hope he stays forever.

LA is a selling point to kids because kids are dumb and naive (in general, not specifically Brown). Once you're an adult you realize it's mostly a shithole.

SC can talk shit when they win something. Make a playoff for starters. Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart are long gone.

When Coach O was recruiting for USC, he would intentionally take the same route from the airport to campus each time to avoid the actual LA to convince recruits and their families that the city wasn't that bad and that the campus neighborhood was safe.

For a city of its size, I have always found LA to be quite disappointing. I would take NYC or Chicago any day over LA.

Comparing NYC and LA is apples to oranges. LA is so spread out it's kinda hard to pin down all the spots to see. I'd say Santa Monica is probably the best showcase for what makes LA fun.
