In Singer's recent lucky charms, he says Hill is officially at the top of the LB board and that ND is only taking 1 LB more next to Drayk.

I'm not sure how they view it but I would hold five stars or elite guys to the staff in a separate category when it comes to numbers to ensure that you don't pass on a guy waiting on another to decide. Meaning if he decides to join that's awesome and needed but wouldn't screw numbers up holding out hope that we land the kid unless it's an absolute certainty that we do.

I would imagine they have 4 or 5 guys that are five stars that they will take at anytime. With not filling the class, people leaving early and transfers I doubt this will be an issue.

Still I believe certain ones are takes regardless.

Half the class could be from Denton.

You may not know this. Why does it seem like we are just know recruiting this school hard? Are they just having a run of good players or is this another school Kelly and staff wouldn’t go too?

It was my understanding that the ‘23 class would consist of nothing but 5 stars or future 5 stars…?

This school is a perennial power in metro Dallas, lots of D1 talent. Should be a regular stop every year. ND has lagged badly in DFW and Texas recruiting, and the SEC powers, OSU, and USC have been going strong. A resurgent UT moving on to the SEC will make it even more competitive.

Denton Ryan & Guyer, Southlake Carroll, Allen, Duncanville, Mansfield, and Cedar Hill (Avery Davis) are all DFW schools that routinely produce solid D1 recruits.

It’ll be interesting to see how much of last year’s recruiting class is left after this year.
