David already has an offer from Auburn, and Texas Tech should be offering soon.

But this recent quote from David is what you'll really like.
"I don't want to be in Oklahoma, I want to get out of this state. I'm just ready for something new. I'm just hoping that God blesses me and gets me out of here."
And his early top five include Auburn, Texas Tech, Florida, Tennessee, and Notre Dame.

I hear Oklahoma fans saying that quote was taken out of context and, in fact, he may have interest of staying in state. Nebraska fans also feel quite confident here.

Gipper, where did you get that quote from about his top 5? I never heard him say anything about a top 5, just listing schools.

This kid's highlight films are unreal. Unreal.

The same article that included the quote about wanting to leave the state.

Oku has no problem with setting his sites beyond the Oklahoma border, already listing an early top five of Auburn, Texas Tech, Florida, Tennessee, and Notre Dame.

Already holding a verbal offer from Auburn, Oku says that Tech is the only other college that has been showing interest as long as the Tigers.

Thanks a lot man. Somehow missed that one...

I almost hope we don't take an RB in the '08 class so we have a better shot at Oku. I just have a suspicion he'll go to either Auburn or Nebraska though. I think whatever school Bryce Brown commits too will be out of the question too.

I'd say if the package deal is in place, we go after the second best running back in the class and leave 08 alone... Whoever that is but this guy I'd take in a heartbeat can't have enough Oklahoma guys on ND...
