According to Chase Notre Dame has been sending him the most mail including several hand written letters from Coach Weis, and he always opens anything Notre Dame sends him. Coach Weis also recently visited Chase's school but Chase didn't get to meet Coach Weis due to a track meet. He also said that he has always been interested in Notre Dame and he really wouldn't mind leaving the state because he wants to experience everything so distance will not be a factor.

Case also mentioned that while most schools are recruiting him at DE, Notre Dame is recruiting him as a non-skill position ATH, which may include DL, DE, TE, or LB. Chase is up to 13 offers, the bigger ones include LSU, Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Colorado, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Maryland and Purdue. Ohio State, Michigan, and Notre Dame all look like they may offer soon.
