One of his friends had already been quoted talking about their conversation shortly before the suicide and his despair regarding another season ending injury. I think it is a realistic perspective to think that played a part in his mental state before killing himself.

Even in college Rondale was taking a lot of hits and the injuries have been piling up in the NFL as well. I think that took its final toll from him and he was unable to overcome. He was fun to watch, sad to see this happen.

Yep, ND’s commitments have usually been solid and it says a lot about the fellas being recruited as well as the approach of the staff. Across the sport as a whole, that‘s certainly not always the case.

I think there are still plenty of recruits who intend to honor their word but in some cases it just seems to be a placeholder unless/until a better offer is received.

I think the new LB coach and Charlie Partridge as DL coach will end up being an upgrade.

I would imagine he will be more productive if he stays healthy since the competition for playing time is likely not as fierce. Injury definitely held him back at ND in 2025.
