    Postgame Thoughts

FSU Postgame Thoughts 1) That was one fugly of a win. 2) Jack Coan is a smart QB; glad he is wearing the gold helmet. 3) I know it's Freeman's first game, the defense needs to make improvements. 4) Lea made adjustments, ND kept allowing FSU to run the ball?? 5) Where was Jordan Botelho...

    Michigan Postgame Thread

Postgame Thoughts: 1. This game reminded me of the 2017 game at Miami. 2. Number's don't lie: 52 total yards at the half. 3. Number's still don't lie: 1.8 yards per play in the first half. 4. I don't know what underperformed more-- our o-line or the offense play calling. They both...

    If you were a recruiter...

If you were a recruiter how would you recruit a kid? For instance if you are a recruiter for ND and you get a kid on campus who is interested in ND, USC, and OSU I wouldn't even waste the time mentioning or "bashing" other schools a kid is after. I would only talk about ND by being honest and...

    Andrew Hendrix/Everett Golson

So we know who the #1 & #2 QB's are and Kelly want's to have a "special package" for 1 of the other 2 QB's. Who you think gets the call for the special pacakge? I want to see Hendrix get some playing time this year.

The crowd at ND stadium vs. W. Michigan.

I thought the crowd this past weekend against Western Michigan was an awesome crowd. The ND students got the wave going; at times going in both directions at the same time (it's been a while since the crowd did the wave), ND ballons were being batted throughout the crowd, and there were more...

    Interesting Shaq Evans article

I read this article on irishsportsdaily and I believe this was talked about last year. I am glad that Shaq decided to stay. I hope he gets more playing time this year. Notre Dame Football - Shaq Thought About Leaving

Info about players and new coach

My dad's boss's wife works in the ND athletic dept. and he shared some info to me from her: Clausen and Tate are gone after this year, Floyd possibly will go pro, and ND is looking at Temple's head coach Al Golden. Just thought I would pass this on.

    You know it's bad when...

the crowd boo's right before the 4th qtr. for the Charlie Weis salute and the crowd only gets into it when the defense has to make a stop or the offense has to make a comeback.

    Clausen, Tate, Floyd, an T'eo

Week in and week out it is these 4 guys that make the headlines, make the plays, and show that they want to win. ND needs some other players to step up and show they want to play, if not we have plenty of substitutions waiting in the wing. I hate to look ahead to next year (because we have a...

    My ND QB Thoughts

So the SB Tribune had an article about the QB position: South Bend Tribune: Notre Dame football: Crist's injury opens QB quandary Here are my thoughts about the position w/ QB's that ND wil have for the next 2 years: Jimmy Clausen- I think Clausen stays at ND for his senior year. The talk...

    Big day for Clausen??

Washington State is ranked 118th in the country in pass defense. I see a big day for Clausen, much like the Hawaii bowl or even better. If Clausen is having a big day I hope Weis leaves him in the game so he can put up even bigger numbers.

Wide Reciever to step up this week??

Clearly (in my opinion) against Purdue we did not have a wide receiver step up, granted that Armado Allen didn't play and Clausen had limited playing time. We still need a wide receiver to step up against Washington, who will step up this week? Duval Kumara? Robby Parrish? Shaquelle Evans...

    Clausen as a decoy

So we all know that when Clausen is used as a decoy the Irish run the Wildcat offense. I am not a fan of the wildcat offense. However I do like using Clausen as a decoy, but why not have Dayne Crist in there at the same time as the QB?? Good idea or bad idea??

What wide receiver will step up?

Deion Walker? John Goodman? Robby Parrish? Shaquelle Evans? Roby Toma? I would like to see Evans step up the most, Parrish has the most playing time out of all of them, Walker and Goodman need some more playing time, and Toma; if Weis does not red shirt him could be a diamond in the rough.

    Why isn't...

Manti Te'o playing every down?? Weis recruited him so hard and it seems like he plays every 20 downs.
