I don't know what the disadvantage is to playing OSU in the second round (after they have a bye) rather than later on. At some point, you have to actually beat the team you "can't" beat. Michigan couldn't beat OSU, and then they did. OSU couldn't beat an SEC team, and then they did. Georgia...
