ND's Talking Heads ... The good, bad & ugly

I still have my Rivals/NDInsider sub but I have been on maybe 3 times since the transition. It’s pretty slow over there. Honestly just too lazy to cancel but they’re not earning the sub, IMO

'23 IL OT Charles Jagusah (Notre Dame Signee)

Ha, HH was recruiting and developing elite OL to/at ND before Freeman was even a defensive coordinator at a P5 program. We need to cut the shit on everything good that happens it’s because of Freeman schtik. It’s getting played out.

    Tommy Rees - Offensive Coordinator

I’m in this weird place where Rees has a lot to prove but he’s so much better than what else we could probably get, at this stage in the process that it’s kind of scary if he were to leave. I think if Rees was just given the talent he’d put together a top 5 offense that was lights out. He’s...

'22 LA QB Walker Howard (LSU Verbal -> Mississippi Transfer)

The coaches and recruiting department are paid to look at more than that. QB recruiting is just extremely unorganized. The more that comes out, the more it looks like a who’s on first, what’s in second, cluster

'22 LA QB Walker Howard (LSU Verbal -> Mississippi Transfer)

Makes you wonder why he was targeted in the first place. How do you get that deep in the cycle and not realize that. What happens if we get on Devin Brown or the other ‘22 QB’s we were interested in down the stretch, first. QB recruiting just seems ass backwards at times.

Just a very impressive group of young men. Extremely excited for this class. A lot of wins in ND’s future.

'22 MI OLB Joshua Burnham (Notre Dame Signee)

Being told her could play Vyper. Mentioned this before but if the goal is to move from 4 down to 3 down without substitutions, Burnham as a Vyper to Will LB makes a ton of sense. Showed up 6’4 215. We’ll see...

Allar could be a total bust, very few sure things from HS QB’s. But, I’d take 4 Allars every 4 years over Clark, Pyne, Buchner, and Angeli. We’re not even playing the same game at this point.

    Tommy Rees - Offensive Coordinator

If we lose Rees we can kiss a legitimate shot at winning big next year goodbye. The floor on next year was already lowered with a first time head coach and significant staff turnover. Implementing a new offense would make next year that much more difficult. Especially when you consider that...

2022 - State of the Recruiting Class thread

Allar aside, the most frustrating one for me is Lander Barton. We were told we led but we were full privately at that time. Not much to complain about at LB, lol, but I'd take Lander Barton over Junior. That guy is going to be a stud for Utah. Total beast. In fact, he'd be our highest rated...
