'24 GA WR Isiah Canion (Georgia Tech Verbal)

TLDR: Accountant didn't vote for Bush.

From what it's sounding like, yes. How legit of an option, too early to tell.

Crazy to believe they like him more than Wingo. I like Canion a lot, but Wingo has crazy upside.

'24 GA WR Isiah Canion (Georgia Tech Verbal)

A lot of people were saying this was a possibility, but I don't think these people were thinking Georgia f*cking Tech of all schools would be the one ND loses out for him.

'24 GA WR Isiah Canion (Georgia Tech Verbal)

Hard disagree. Canion was very raw and needed work, but he was a guy moving up with crazy good physical tools. If they manage to get Wingo to visit and land him though, hard to say that isn't an upgrade.

Still a bizarre choice. UGA and Auburn are practically the same distance from Warner Robins.

Before the portal, I'd say that you could, but now, I think you need to take 3 minimum every year. ND learned the hard way already. They landed 3 receivers every year from '19-21 and of them, only 2 of them managed to remain at receiver past their 2nd year. Attrition is real, and even at ND...

ND can't settle on 2. I'd have to imagine they like their chances better with Wingo or McClellan. That or there's going to be a name that comes up pretty soon that they move fast on. My guess is the latter.

'24 GA WR Isiah Canion (Georgia Tech Verbal)

Of fucking course. ND does all the ground work to identify a hidden gem and Georgia sits on their butts, does very little work and lands him. That's fucking bullshit.

'24 CA LB Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa (Notre Dame Signee)

This is the infuriating vicious cycle ND is stuck in. ND needs elite players to win big games, but ND needs to win big games to land elite players, but they need elite players to win big games, but they need to win big games too land elite players, etc.

‘24 CA S Marquis Gallegos (USC Verbal)

IIRC, ND wasn't the only school who moved on from Gallegos.

This. My fear is that while ND isn't going to go down with the ship, it's the collateral damage amidst the fallout. If UA goes under, they're going to try and cut corners in order to salvage their enterprise. If I'm ND, I can't trust that their product is going to remain quality (especially...

'24 IL DL Justin Scott (Miami [FL] Verbal)

We're coming off a CB class of Gray and Bell, two very athletic highly rated corners. Moore and Hobbs are also a really good tandem with a good shot of adding Beasley to that group. I'd say CB recruiting has been desirable.

I'm kinda surprised Oakland is on their over SF. Sure, Oakland has the reputation, but SF has gone to absolutely sh*t in the past 10-15 years.

    New Apparel and Shoe Deal

I'm sure everybody realizes that. The problem isn't whether ND would go down with the ship with UA, but that with the very real possibility that UA continues on their trajectory...then why re-sign with them? What is the incentive? It's like staying in a relationship with a loser. Sure, he...

This is where I'm at. He makes it on campus in July, I think ND gets him. If he doesn't...well, we've seen this movie before.

    New Apparel and Shoe Deal

If NIL is not a significant part of the deal, then there is zero reason to stick with UA. I can't imagine it even if UA offered more money. Seriously, why would you gamble on a company with so much instability right now? It's a high risk-low reward proposition. At least with Nike, you have the...

'24 IL DL Justin Scott (Miami [FL] Verbal)

He thinks Michigan has gained steam and thinks they're the team to beat, but he also doesn't seem to know where things are with Scott. Says it could stretch out to the winter or might decide next months. Frankly, I'm taking his update with a massive grain of salt. Because this time last...

'24 MI QB CJ Carr (Notre Dame Signee)

Well, if we're going by your metric, he'd be a top 500 QB, since he apparently is only DECENT.

So we're awarding them extra brownie points because they barely lost to the team who got curb stomped in the biggest blowout in bowl game history? Not CFP history...in BOWL GAME history. In the last 5 years, ND has 2 playoff appearances, 4 10+ win seasons. Michigan has 2 playoff appearances...
