Totally Agree - for all his deficiencies as a passer, Riley only turned the ball over 9 times (ints + fumbles) over 16 games last year, which allowed us to suffocate most teams with our defense and run game. Have to wonder if we started the season differently (like a FCS team) if the choice...

It’s pretty obvious Freeman is not a fan of gunslingers and doesn’t have a tolerance for turnover risk with his QBs. Not sure it comes down to anything more than Minchey just protecting the ball better.

As far as favorite - Georgia last year and it’s not particularly close. PSU last year is probably second because we looked so dead. Not including last year, probably OU 2012.

I assume the Big 10 would have thrown a fit if a post season ban or other serious sanctions that might have hurt one of the their biggest brands was the path the NCAA chose. Zero faith in them as an independent body to punish the money-making brands, us included.

I was at A&M last year and thought Kyle Field was pretty tame until the 4th quarter, then it turned into the loudest stadium atmosphere I ever experienced before we silenced them. Even if we are 20%-30% of the stadium, it’s gonna be loud at Miami just because of the roof.

Yeah these guys pretty much just post hints at premium info. So assumption is some board is saying Kenny may have a better shot than we thought, at minimum.
