Agreed. I believe there were options (HCs) that may have been in the 'talks', but I truly believe MF was the front runner. I have always thought that a HC should have that rapport not only with their staff, but with the players as well and by the video of MF being announced as HC to the team...

'There is no replacement for displacement'... MF doesn't strike me as a person/coach to take their foot off the 'gas pedal'. I truly expect to see ND take it to the next level with MF. Call it a hunch......

The Irish have one in TB.... ranked 11th nationally at QB. And with Angeli coming in.. Rees needs to put a plan together for these QBs.

It's the difference in playing 'College Degree' and playing 'Football'... but, with MF, I see a couple '5s' coming maybe next year or year after. We'll see. I do believe it will have a lot do with how next season plays out.
