Bowden was often the head recruiter for many guys and some coaches kind of coasted for different reasons. Brown came in and maybe he was focused on coaching...

    Multiple media members said that Bowden was kind of able to target who he wanted (Meadows) and some coaches got complacent or werent very active in recruiting. Not sure these coaches apply, but possible!
