Just watched most of the game of the century this morning. That game should have been a blowout. Several drops for ND on offense that would have been big plays and interception drops. Had they blown them out, they would have got a share of the NC.

Still can't wrap my mind around someone committing to Michigan. I mean, unless the powers that be are telling these kids they'll get a slap on the wrist, why risk it? You can play anywhere, why play under sanctions and out of the national spotlight?

Care to summarize for us poors?

I think this committee is trying to guarantee that the SEC gets 4 teams in, no matter what. Same for the Big Ten it seems (unless Indiana loses twice). Combine that with the ACC champ, the Big 12 champ and the 5th highest conference champ, that leaves 1 opening. That could leave ND out...

I think at 11-1, were in no matter what. But, to get a home game, we've got to hope for at least two "massive upsets" for teams ahead of us, in addition to the head to heads where someone will lose (Tenn, Indiana). I'm worried Bama will jump us, because Bama. If we get in, I hope we play PSU...

It’s frustrating to me because some of these teams (looking at you PSU) are only ranked there based on preseason hype/polls/bs. The CFP poll was supposed to be better because they can look at 8 games and say this is what you earned. I don’t mind ND being at 10, but PSU at 6 is horseshit.

Has ND ever done Pyrotechnics? That seems like a no brainer to me.

Agreed. I’m sure these kids aren’t fighting to be able to play in the Toilet Bowl. If anything, probably hoping they don’t so they don’t have to opt out.

They lost the turnover battle 3-0, tough to overcome. This is still a dangerous team, they aren't getting blown out they are snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Plus, playing at their place never bodes well for the Irish.

I thought the staff preferred Lambert at RT and have no plans to move him?

I'm curious, having never been to a game in SB, if a yellow hat says to sit down, can you refuse? Or, does that get you kicked out?
