Feel like Les Miles gets a bit unfairly dragged for how his tenure at LSU ended...but the guy was a great coach for his era. Just wouldn't/couldn't adapt to the spread/RPO offenses that started dominating CFB.

That is a very, very interesting alt history timeline for the program. I would imagine a guy like Saban or Stoops would've demanded a lot out of the university....would be very difficult to imagine the control required being given up to either of those guys.

In fairness, he committed so early in the process to ND, and might have a raising profile because he's actually doing football recruiting events. Maybe he wants to check out the local school and see what USC is like because of Bowden?
