I agree that there’s a huge need at DT and somewhat at boundary receiver but you glazed over my main point and I can make the argument that relying on the portal for WB’s for three years hurt ND’s WR recruitment.

When I see the comment we should just over pay to fill a need I cringe a bit. The problem is we are reacting to what IU and TT are doing so the instinct is to throw money at it. They aren’t building rosters the way ND is and anyone that has had to hire and manage employees knows that’s a recipe...
