FWIW, ISD is saying that Thomas is at 220. Not great, but better than 207. He probably needs to put on an additional 10-15 pounds to be a legit rotation option. Jamie is also convinced that Dunham will play.

Fong is very plugged in, but he's not perfect. He was convinced for a while that ND was the team to beat for Elijah Rushing and his recruitment basically ended during his OV.

Correct, but their DL was deep and guys like Marquise Lightfoot and Justin Scott would have started for a lot of teams. Their DL will still be good. OL is the question mark. They've recruited well but they're inexperienced.

What's interesting is Miami brought in 2 other portal WR's who expect to start, and now they'll likely get Barkate unless Mensah is somehow prevented from transferring to Miami. Barkate is only in the portal because Mensah is leaving, IMO.

Yes, they are beyond desperate. They whiffed on all of the top-tier QB's they went after and Cristobal and his staff have a bad track record of developing QB's that they signed out of HS.
