To me, jerseys point absolutely was about the upsets. Maybe i misunderstood. Sure the players are gonna funnel to the top programs, but the games dont feel noticably less fun bc of that.

I just dont think these giant upsets were happening all the time pre NIL or anything. They were rare and memorable because of that.

I mean we all just saw WMU beat Michigan, this year. And who's to say a Tulane for example wont eventually get picked up into the Big 12 or something? Maybe a billionaire Rice alum decides they want to invest in football. All of the things you're upset about still have the chance of happening...
