Mike and the mad dog (wfan radio lots of ND sources) said ND and Urban had a deal basically done but after the meeting yesterday he left very pissed off. appartently ND wasn't willing to give him some academic exceptions like Holtz. They said there sources said he left the meeting very angry.

again, ND scewed themselves! it's ncie to see though that they aren't going to lay off their standards but something's gotta give here. Wins or standards...can we have both this day in age??? I'd like to believe so but i'm not seeing any evidence here.....

Florida supposedly had a verbal agreement with Meyer for weeks before we even fired Willingham. He wanted ND and decided to listen but he was low balled by only offering him 1 mill/year, and Ty was getting 1.6, He told ND that Florida had offered him 2 mil and that he could win right away and that his family really wanted to live in Florida.
