Meyer has selected Florida. The same decision that athletes make anymore. Notre Dame's day has passed. They simply are not able to attract the great coaching talent. Due to academic standards it will take a great coach and recruiter and I do not believe we can get one.

They should agree to pay $1M more per year than any coach in college football, but they will never do it, even though there are some alumni who would fund it.

I agree with Indyfan. We need to pay the coaches more to offset the challenge of our academic standards. Either that or loosen the standards. What a terrible day for ND Football.
