He won a national title in 2008 with three of his own recruiting classes. Had a title caliber team in 2009 with four full classes.

Im not gonna bother looking, but id like to know how many of those guys were senoirs
or even junoirs that zook had already been in contact with. Plus Auburn is a great example of what 1 player (tebow) can do for a college team. What florida has now and last year is all Urban and its trash.

Hes gonna get kids excited cuz of his luster, and them not knowing just how **** poor of a job he did his last year. Hes not gonna have automatic speed just oozing into his program, i dont see him going past year 3.

I think he recruiting will effect us some but he will still have ties to the florida kids and thats where alot of good talent kids are. I would expecrt to see some more kids come north.

He most certainly did not do a **** poor job during his last year. It was Brantley's first year as a starter and they were rebuilding all over that team. Urban definitely won't have as easy of a job as he did at Florida as far as recruiting, but the man is a damn good coach. Just look at what he did at Utah.

8-5 with junior QB, real swell job. Rebuilding why? Urban had all these great rcting classes Ridik pointed out to me. Im guessing Muschamp feels the same way Kelly did when he 1st got here.

Can't give up on Coach Kelly yet....remember 2 years ago when it was 1. Florida 2. Alabama 3. Texas and 4. Cincinatti, which yes, Florida was #1, but coach Kelly lead Cincy to that high in the ranks, and I believe that he can do this with our beloved Irish. We all knew it wouldn't be done overnight, but I still believe he will get the Irish back to prominence. OSU is mostly excited about this for one reason, and it's not Michigan, it is because Urban Meyer has lead and knows how to beat SEC teams, and OSU fans hope to turn their 0-9 bowl record around.

My thoughts, sure, it will make recruiting harder for ND, but at least with Brian Kelly, ND now has a chance. Plus, should by some chance, the NCAA come down on OSU, will kids want to play for a school on probation? Just saying, while this may be great for OSU, and now we see Michigan has raised the bar, its time for ND to step up and be a national competitor again.
