MODS please delete. I screwed up the polling and created a new thread with public polls. Sorry for the hassle. Use the other poll that looks similar to this one.

ND on the big screen, but I brought two tvs to college for this exact reason.

yea, ND and its not close... And if I didn't have a remote I wouldn't even bother changing the channel.

edit: private polls are no fun.

ND vs WF

I'd look like a stooge sitting in front of the TV watching LSU vs AL dressed in ND gear.

Those of you that are pro-ND game, I respect that, but keep in mind that in this hypothetical when ND is up 3 scores in the 3rd and Alabama/LSU is turning into an absolute war and it's tied going into the 4th, you can't change the channel ;)

If we are not able to flip back and forth or have two tvs, than even if they are up by 3 TDs we still wouldn't be able to change the channel. Would we? You have to think we would watch ND from the beginning, so we are already locked in from beginning to end.

To paraphrase a line from "Rudy" - "There's only one team we watch in this house."

ND without a doubt.

I know, to be honest I was just surprised at how many people would pass on the LSU Bama game, so I tried to offer some perspective, lol.

A) Respect the hypothetical! Lol. You can't DVR, see edited question ;)

B) IFF you could DVR, I would do the opposite. I would watch the ND vs Wake Game on Sunday to see how ND played, but with all of the hype, emotion, and energy that's going to happen in the Bama LSU game, I want to see that one live. I wouldn't enjoy watching that game after-the-fact, whereas I can still enjoy watching ND after I know the result of the game.

No question it's ND. I'm sure we will see LSU-Bama in the near future again but when is the next time you could say you saw ND-Wake!!

The problem with me is if I have the LSU-Bama game on, I'll be thinking about the ND game too much to really even care. Yes, I love college football but I can't watch any other game other then ND, while ND is playing.

LSU/Bama who cares in my opinion. Yes it's 1 vs. 2 but its a regular season game. It's not the national title game. So I don't care at all. Yeah, I'm interested to see who wins but to watch that over Notre Dame for me isn't going to happen.

To be fair, these two teams may very well be better than the two in the national championship. Also, a national championship is rarely between rivals.

Didn't even have to think about it.

I'm an ND fan first, and a college football fan second.

I intended to make the poll non-private and this one is set to private. To those of you who want to vote or already voted, I re-created a poll in a similar thread. Sorry for the hassle.

It's just difficult for me to get excited about a game where the teams don't really represent anything different. I'm an academic. This is a slug fest between two schools that are simultaneously not very good to begin with and are willing to trade whatever semblance of education they may provide to their athletes for the sake of having a good team. This game is a celebration of broken amateur athletics, where the student portion of the student-athlete is as meaningless as the general studies degrees conveyed upon the few who do manage to graduate. It will be a good football game, fought between institutions who are willing to stomp on their athletes whenever the scholarship belt needs tightening. I'm more pumped than a gas station manned by an ex-bama player. Roll tide!
