1. Coach Boyle headed south to Florida to coach at the Montverde Academy. He's got a loaded team down there and expected to compete for "the mythical national championship" immediately. He also had Dakari Johnson transfer down there with him, he was a 6'10" frosh with limitless potential. I believe he must sit for a year.
There are many reasons for Boyle leaving, he cites financial ones in the documentary. Word around Elizabeth is there are underlying problems as well.
The NJSIAA has had it out for Boyle for some time now and it was highlighted in there highly suspect investigation of him in the '09-'10 season. Also, the double standard in NJ (Boyle vs. Hurley) is another factor.
2. The sit period- When a student transfers from school to school in NJ, they must sit for 30 days at the onset of the season. In NJ, the season commences the day after Thanksgiving.
Since Roselle Catholic (RC) has a blue chipper in Tyler Roberson and another down low banger in Hakeem Santil that have to sit, they will miss some key games including Coach Hurley's St. Ant's. RC will be a team to watch as they make a run in the TOC in NJ.
