Moving to Chicago tomorrow

I am moving to Chicago tomorrow. More specifically Lakeview. Comcast won't be available to install my cable until a next thursday, so I need somewhere to catch the ND game saturday. Any suggestions? Good bars?

Victory Liquors on Halsted is a good ND bar and has game watches with usually an all ND crowd. Where in Lakeview are you living? I lived at Waveland and Fremont for a year while I got my masters so I'll be happy to answer any questions about the area you may have.

Wrightwood Tap is another option as well as Irish Oak which is right on Clark near Wrigley. Victory Liquors was definitely my favorite though.

I am about a half block off n. broadway on cambridge ave. by belmont. I am geeked about moving there. coming from a fairly small town in southeast michigan so it should be a little bit of a change

This. Citizen is also an ND bar. I'd probably say Wrightwood Tap would have the best atmosphere. Get there early to get a table. Really early. 11?

I think it closed then reopened with new management or something. I was just there in early August and it was still the same place. I don't think Citizen would be a great game watch place but it's a fun ND bar to go to at night.

That's insane that you're living right there! My girlfriend lived on Cambridge just off Belmont last year. She lived in a building called 'The Cambridge'. Lakeview is a great neighborhood. You'll really enjoy it. Also, be sure to stop by Binny's to stock up on alcohol... they have a fantastic selection and great deals.
