I forgot what a cannon he had for an arm.

QB another vote for Powlus. Hybrid Prostyle/Option QB

RB another vote for Marc Edwards. He would have made a great change of pace back. Great use for him would have been goal line sets and shoulders down punishment for the defense. Also the Bettis would have done very well too

WR. Derrick Mays would have flourished in Kellys offense. Especially with Floyd on the other side of the field.

Slot: The Rocket would have been fun to watch.

TE: It would have been amazing to have seen Rudy play a whole season.

Some of you are too old for me.

QB: Tony Rice
RB: Darius Walker or Reggie Brooks
WR: Floyd (will be remembered as one of the all-time greatest at ND)
WR: Golden Tate
Slot: Rocket
TE: Carlson

was suprised it took till the second page to see watters name

I think his name might've appeared sooner than that ;)

You know, I absolutely loved how Reggie Brooks played the game, but I really don't think he'd do great in Kelly's system. Kelly RBs need to be good pass catchers, and here's Lou on Reggie Brooks after the '92 Penn State game:

"'You won't believe this, but Reggie Brooks has bad hands,' Notre Dame coach Lou Holtz said. 'No, that's not fair. I don't want to mess up his future, but he's not the first guy I'd throw to.'"
