Sigh...love me some Lou. I met him in 1995 at the ripe old age of 12, ND's national youth sports program (NYSP) it was kids from 6th grade to 12th I think that got to go to Notre Dame for a week and get taught how to play all kinds of sports by ND athletes. I begged our team leader to ask Lou to meet us, or at least sign a picture, our team leader was a swimmer who was also in the booster club that paints the helmets. So when we finally met in the south dining hall the next to last day I got to sit in front and here he come. He walked up and shook my hand and said Hello Young Lady. I tell ya it was the most awesome thing since pockets on t-shirts.
