We ended the regular season #1. But after the bowl season, we ended #4, according to B&G. Here is this year’s top 10:
1. Texas A&M 88-47 — .6518
2. Arkansas 85-48 — .6390
3. Auburn 90-51 — .6382
4. Notre Dame 90-53 — .6293
5. LSU 82-49 — .6259
6. South Carolina 90-55 — .6206
7. Minnesota 75-48 — .6097
8. Iowa State 76-49 — .6080
9. Missouri 82-53 — .6074
10. Oregon State 79-52 — .6030
According to B&G:
this year was distinctly the 11th occasion since 1977, when the NCAA initially began keeping track of the most complicated schedules, the Irish ended in the top 5 in that group. Notre Dame had the No. 1 ranking five eras: 1978, 1985, 1987, 1989 and 1995. The only other university with more than three is Florida (1986, 1996, 2000 and 2006) with four.
Pretty impressive folks...
