He's a longtime friend and teammate of ND Verbal Commit Eilar Hardy. He will be coming with Eilar on his unofficial visit the weekend of the Michigan game to meet with coaches. His game was televised on ESPNU this past weekend, he looked very explosive and even had a 95 yard INT return for a touchdown.

We have 2 CB's on Scholarship past this season. We need to get at least 2 and realistically 3 in here for next year.

I'd offer just to fill the spot.

these percieved "throw ins" make for great stories(quinn) when they take over prominent roles on the team and have success! good luck to this kid, hopefully he'll get an offer!

Win a bunch of games and change the minds of alot of kids who are ignoring us right now, get Lyons and then maybe Doran Grant gives us another sniff. In the mean time, check out other avenues such as Tamani. Game day heroes can come from anywhere.

I don't think Grant is a viable option.

He camped at ND. He visited this summer. He was never offered. I think he would have been offered by now. The kid is one of the highest rated CB's. There must be something else there. I don't think the problem is his height. He sounds like the type of athlete that would be perfect at the slot receiver position. Maybe he has stone hands. The measurable are there. I don't know what the issue is. But, evidently there is something there.

Unless he's severely underrated, we shouldn't offer him. We already have like 6 DBs and we have several higher profile recruits still available.

I'd imagine if the staff thought he was good enough to offer they would have a long time ago...considering he plays with Hardy.
