I like to know what do negative odds and positive odds mean

The negative and postive numbers are for those who want to bet on straight outcomes of games using no point spreads. If you see a team with postive odds then that means that they are the underdog. The larger the number, the more unlikely it would be for them to pull off an upset. Conversely, a negative number denotes a favorite. The larger the number means how heavy of a favorite they would be.

If you see +500, then for every $100 you bet you would win $500.

If you see -500, then in order to win $100, you would need to bet $500. (If you bet just $100, you'd only win $20)

For this game, Missouri is -140. For negative odds, you would divide 100 by 140 and get .71. If you bet 100 vbucks, you would win 100 x .71 or approximately 71 vbucks.

For postive odds, you divide 120 by 100 and get 1.2. if you bet 100 vbucks, you would win 100 x 1.2 or 120 vbucks.

To an extent, the moneylines pretty much correlate to the point spreads.
