Depends on who you ask. For ND and canes fans it will be the highlight of the season. For the rest of the college football world it is just another bowl which includes a pair of 7-5 teams.

IMO the early start time really doesn't help the potential ratings and or viewers.

Disagree. Being it's new years eve it's a good time slot. A good majority of people won't be watching football at night

Perhaps you are right. Just seems rather early for a bowl game.

At least ill have it dvr'd but it will be hard to stay away from espn and Si to know what the score is

I would have thought there would be at least 1 sec school on the list. I guess its just because I live in sec country and thats all I hear about.

We have a pretty good rating for a school that isn't "relevent" anymore!
