ND Hockey Beats Miami

The hockey team scored 3 third period goals and overcame 2 goal deficits twice to beat Miami (OH) in Oxford last night. Freshman T.J. Tynan had the game winner to celebrate his being named the Hockey Commissioner's Association National Rookie of the Month for November!

The Irish Icers are putting together a nice season.

Following in the steps of the football team, they also ended an extended winless streak - they had been 0-7-1 in their last several trips to Oxford.

Irish hockey is an awakening giant. As long as Jackson is coaching, they're going to be a team to be reckoned with... and once the new rink goes up, you could put anybody behind the bench and bring talent in.
