It's a week to week thing with this team. They look good, then terrible. They just flat out played nowhere near their potential. We can all assume that ND did not give its best game. But moving forward, we have got Tulsa Utah Army SC. We have 2 wins that are comfortably probable.

I still believe that this team can play with the big dogs on some weeks. I believe ND can beat Utah. They just have to play with the level of emotion and passion that we have seen glimpses of. They have to hang in and fight, not sit back when mistakes happen with the old "here we go again".

Notre Dame, for stability of the program, needs to beat either Utah or SC...or both.

There is no way that this Defense can play with Utah. Did You see walls give up that pass to day and his supposed to one of our best and Navy a running team had a good day passing on this horrible defense.

I think the defense, today, was more confused from whistle to whistle, then actually getting beat physically and athletically. Utah won't roll us. ND will beat Utah and lose to SC. Theyll beat Army/Tulsa.

Call me nuts. But thats my prediction, and I'll stand by it. We'll find out in a week or 2

Utah will pick the secondary a part. I want to win these games but here in real life it won't happen.

We really need to make a bowl game to get the extra weeks of practice. That is where we are. Chances of a bowl game? 50/50 after today. Tulsa's offense is explosive - I'm very worried. Utah - 5% chance of winning. If USC has turned the mental corner - possibly anther 38 point loss.
I'm sick of 'next year'; but that is where we are.
