Probably all depends on how UM, BC, MSU and Stanford finish.

Steele is expecting Michigan to be improved and MSU could win 8 or 9 games.

BC is another team that could win their conference but might fall back a little bit.

He has Stanford as one of the teams that could win the Pac-10...I can't see that happening, but they should be solid.

I bet our SoS ends up just slightly better than last year, maybe around 32.

Agreed Rocket89... The schedule this year LOOKS weak but could prove to be tougher than it looks. I think you're close, anywhere from 30 to 40.

Our problem is that all the big rivalry games (the first 4 teams you mentioned + USC) can prove to be harder for us then a teams record will show. For example, Mich St. plays us like its the national championship every year and then decides the rest of their season doesn't matter and all of a sudden we have a loss to a team that's close to if not below .500

The schedule won't be rigorous if you look at the numbers, but when you watch the way every team comes at us like it's their last day to play football, the schedule will be plenty strong.
