Will we ever see Green under Kelly?

I, like many of you, remember in 05 when the Irish came out in green and ND stadium visibly shook. Then in 06 on Brady Quinn's final home game, when the green was again dawned and the Irish broke the curse. Haven't seen much of then since then. I doubt BK will pull them out this year, will we ever see them under his tenure, if so, will they be a new color? I didnt like the dark green jerseys, and im hoping for a more "Kelly Green" (pun intended) what do you think? Should Kelly pull them out in the years to come, if so, what team would he use them for? Lets hear it irish fans!

I am partial to the forrest green ones, maybe against Utah if we are both ranked decently for the game.

Then in 06 on Brady Quinn's final home game, when the green was again dawned and the Irish broke the curse.

I was at that game, sitting in front of the Cadets' cheering section. Annoying as hell through the first half, until BQ turned it into a passing clinic.

I personally like the intention for wearing the green jerseys. It's not just to surprise the players and get them extra hyped, but to get the crowd that much louder. I hope Kelly brings the green jerseys out this year. ND's not going to win wearing them if they don't put them on.

i think kelly should wait until we're a respectable contender. i'd like to see a movement away from the jerseys as being a gimmick. it means more when both teams are ranked in the top 5 or 10 than when we're huge favorites or underdogs.

I was dissapointed that they are selling the same forest green uniforms from the Weis era, except with the ND on the arms of course.

I do not like that dark color and I think the gold numbering is acutally quite ugly, makes the entire uniform go into gold overload, and takes away from the gold helmet.

I'm hoping they just made the transition with the jersey so they can sell it, but that they don't ever wear them. To me, that dark green and gold numbers will always be Weis' thing and we should change it if we wear green.

I'm not sure how I feel about wearing the green for "one off" games anymore. I don't believe in the curse at all, but it has usually done more for the other team, more than pump up the Irish.

With Kelly as our coach, I would like to see a complete transition to green like we did in the 1970's under Devine. Simply from a marketing perspective, this seems like an amazing idea. The school could sell a ton of new green-related merchandise. Maybe this will happen in 2012 or 2013 once Kelly is entrenched as coach.

Kelly understands that Weis and even some of the fans are now AFRAID to wear the green---Kelly strikes me as the kind of guy that isn't afraid of much----and will expect his team to reflect that----Its Brian KELLY afterall---expect to see Kelly Green early in 2010!!

I'm not sure why we devote post after post, thread after thread on wearing the green jerseys.

This whole thing is bordering on an episode of the tv show, "Queer Eye For Kelly Green Guy".

Folks, we're going to come out and bust people in the mouth, no matter what the hell we're wearing. STFU with this whole jersey discussion. It's tired and played. That "dead horse" thanks you for your attention to this post.
