Its that time of the year, many prospects will be making their college decisions in the next week and a half before NSD. Out of the prospects we are still in it with, who do you guys see committing to ND? There are still some very big names out there that we are in the hunt for....... my opinion.
OT-Matt James...... i believe offering his QB and good friend Luke Massa has put us in great position with this mammoth OT. We have been rumored to be the leader many times before, and i believe it will end that way as well on NSD.
S- Jeremy Ioane...... I believe he will follow his former teammates Roby Toma and Manti Teo to the golden dome. Kid hits like a brick shit house and is exactly the type of player we need on defense.
QB- Luke Massa..... another late offer like Ioane, current UC committment, but he committed when our coach was there. His coach made contact with Kelly to see if there was still interest.....
DE/DT- JR Ferguson..... kelly and the staff seem very consumed in getting this recruit. I believe it will pay off in the end.
NOTE- In the past two cycles, i have got my ass kicked in trying to guess these things. Im an optimistic guy, holding out some hope for all the recruits we are in the conversation with. I also think we will keep leuders, but lose Bernard. Either way, this will likely be the best NSD we have had in many years, if we gain a greater amount of players than we lose in the last month. We havent done that in some time. CW wasnt known as a closer....... I believe kelly will be known in short time that he can do just that.
