Now that both our seasons are over thought I'd stop by and say hey, and find out what the majority of y'alls feelings are on next year. I assume most are thrilled with the Kelly hire, I'm not, but how do you feel next year will go?

Hope everyone here has a Merry Christmas and a great New Years, hopefully we'll have better football years next year. And by 'we'll' I mean us, you guys hopefully will suck :)

im excited about the new season, but bummed that i have to wait another 250+ days until i see what we have.

i think kelly could very well be the next great coach at ND and i think we will finally see some stability at that position again.

i expect a run similar to what sc has enjoyed or even ohio state. just be in the discussion every year, and ill take an 8-4 season here and there(preferrably between championships)

No bowl does suck but, im just going to imagine cincinatti wearing blue and gold and root for them as if they were my irish.

So overall im at a 10 for anxiousness and excitedness and a 8 for nervousness.

how about you go blue? what do you expect in rich rods 3rd year?

Welllll, I’m cautiously optimistic. I think our offence improved leaps and bounds over Rich Rods first go around, with some expected bumps with a true Freshman at the helm, but overall the offence on a whole was a bright spot IMO. With that said, I would expect to see the same progression next year, less mistakes, better reads from Tate, the O as a whole should have a better grasp on the system.

On the other side of the ball…..well, I’m not really sure what to expect. Our DLine should be great, all are returning, plus, Big Will will hopefully have a better handle on how things work under Robinson and therefore be more effective. Roh will have had more time to put some weight on, which should add to his already great ability. The LB’s I’m not so sure about, I think we return them all, but their performance wasn’t much to be desired. Obe was benched in favor of a walk on, which he took in stride I hear, and Mouton wasn’t much better. The Secondary is even fuzzier, there is now talent back there, but a big drop off in experience with Warren heading for the NFL.

My personal expectations are at least a 8 win season, 2 of those wins need to happen over our 4 big rivals (looking at you domers), and just improved play all around.

Devin Gardner will do wonders for your offense. UM should improve next season.

didnt you guys lose a big d linemen? he like led the nation in sacks.

its gonna be battle of the spread offenses next year. its at home and i think we win that one. but next year hopefully could be good for fans of both programs

I got the opportunity to watch Gardner in the state championship game in November on FSN. He absolutely sucked.

Michigan should be vastly improved next year. Probably an 8 or 9 win season, maybe more if they make the right changes defensively.

My best friend loves michigan.

My best friend loves michigan.

We are very different He was marine I was Army,He was born in Philly Me near Boston,He's black i'm white.Yet, the only thing that we truly go head to head on Is our love for these two schools. I know U.S.C is suppose to be a our main rival but, I swear I look forward to that Michigan game more than any (this year sucked Weis blew it HUGE). So good luck my friend I feel we are more competitive with you than we are with Socal anyway. let's hope Kelly won't throw bombs to Floyd with the lead less than 4 minutes left.
