IF Seattle hires Holmgren it's doubtful they fire Mora so soon. He'll be given more time. However I could see Holmgren possibly getting Mora to switch OC's but said OC would be someone who employs a pure WCO.
St.Louis wil have a tough decision on their hands should they end up with the #1 overall pick. Do you take the #1 player on the board in Suh or (like 2005) pick one of the 2 QB's to build your franchises future around. They clearly have a glaring need for a QB and took his blindside protector #2 last year, so it will be interesting to see how they handle this. They will look long and hard IMHO at McCoy, Tebow, Lefevour & Pike who are all guys that may be available in rounds 2-3-4 and have to decide if they see a potential franchise QB there or not.
Washington has to figure out what to do with Campbell....he's played better as of late but is he the guy ? They also need a RB and an OT pretty badly so Allen will have to do his homework.
Seattle will be tempted should Bradford or Clausen be there as it's time to think about the Seahawks post-Hasslebeck. (They own 2 1sts so they could look at McCoy later in the 1st as well)
Carolina has no 1st round pick, SF has it. Are the 49ers sold on Smith ? Right now they claim to be uncertain still so his last 3 games are crucial. (As a 49ers fan I am crossing my fingers we take Tate since we have 2 1sts, the ability to trade back a few spots should need be and have a need for a WR who can stretch things vertically & a KR/PR)
Denver has Chicago's pick and may be in the market to take a 1st round QB.
Jacksonville has to start selling tickets so a franchise QB could be taken, Garrard also will be 32 I believe next season.
I don't think Oakland drafts a 1st round QB. Too much still invested in Russell but from the 2nd round on anythings possible. And unless Tate clocks in under 4.35 he has no chance of going top 10 to Oakland (and we can all breathe a sigh of relief!)
Buffalo also will take a long look at the QB's.
As for Tate I could see SF, Baltimore, the Jets, Bengals and Chargers all with 1st round interest.
