Where do Jimmy and Golden go?

I got Jimmy a top 3 pick going to the rams. Bulger is on his way out and they need a high profile player to breathe some life into that organization.
I think Golden could be a late first round if he does well at the combine. I could see the Bengals picking him up since they don't really have a clear cut number 2 wide receiver right now. He'd be great along side Ocho.

What do you guys think?

If Todd McShay knows anything he has Tate going 21st and Jimmy going 23rd. He has never been high on Jimmy.

Golden is awesome, but I still do not understand the rationale of coming out early unless you are a top 15 pick. What is the purpose of coming out early and going in the 2nd round? I think he got some bad advice. Isn't the WR field stacked this year?

Golden's stock will never be higher. He had a monster season and it would be very difficult to put up those same numbers next year with an older and more experienced Michael Floyd and Kyle Rudolph to take some of his catches. Plus he wont have Jimmy throwing him the ball, he will have a talented, but inexperienced quarterback. So he is striking while the iron is hot. Plus next year will be an uncapped year in the NFL. There is no better time for Golden to cash in.

Golden Brown - Quinn's got no one to pass it to right now. Cribbs is about it. I guess I am hopeing for this more than thinking its going to actually happen.

Jimmy def. top 5 recruit this year. I hope the Brown's don't pick him up though. That would mean we used our first pick on another QB, plus kinda awkward with Jimmy & Brady, me don't likey. At least get a good D player before a QB. Would love to see Ndamukong Suh on the team.

teams that will be looking at QBs- Carolina, Jacksonville, St. Louis, Oakland, Washington, Minnesota, Seattle, Buffalo, Cleveland-maybe, Denver-maybe

WR- Cincinnati, Cleveland, Chicago, Miami, NY Jets, Tampa Bay, Chicago, Carolina, St. Louis, San Francisco, Houston, Dallas, Jacksonville, Seattle, did i mention Chicago?

My guess is Jimmy goes to Carolina somewhere around 11 and Golden ends up in Dallas around 23.

With Locker staying at Wash, Bradford is Jimmy’s only real competition for being the 1st QB taken. It will really come down to the off season games and work outs. I truly believe that Jimmy will go to St Louis. As for Golden, that’s harder to predict. I really don’t see him being the first WR taken because of his size. I would love to see him catching pass from Peyton next year but I don’t see him falling pass Baltimore.

Both go to seattle, drafted by their head coach CW. Heard something about holmgren possibly gettin the Cleavland job, so im guessing Seatlle is one of the head coach jobs Charlie was talking bout.

Though Oakland desperately NEEDS a QB, JC should be safe from going there because the Raiders are STUCK w/ Jamarcus Russell. Too much salary cap to off-load and nobody would even trade an 8th round pick on him (even though there is no such thing). Wow, that guy is totally incompetent and virtually worthless ... QB rating of 47!!! He has to be one of the top 2 worthless "starting" QB's in the league! What a waste of millions old Al pissed away AGAIN!

Apparently McShay doesn't jack shit. With Locker staying, unless Bradford has an amazing combine, Clausen is the best qb in this draft class. and he is trying to say that no team needs a qb below 23 picks? My guess is that he goes to the Rams, unless they get the first pick, in which case, Suh is too good to pass up.

Golden is one of the top WR prospects in the draft. I think he will be drafted somewhere in the middle first round. Maybe 17 or so. Teams in this draft are going to be more careful than ever on position players, but if you watch the film on golden you will see he flat out knows how to play the game. He has a knack for knowing what to do with the ball when he gets it. He can run the wild cat, return kicks, and play wide out. He is very versatile and NFL teams love having guys like that. I pray this is wrong but I could see Old Man Davis loving him.

As for Jimmy, bad news kid. Only one qb will go in the top five, unless, Washington decides to give up on Campbell. He has been playing well the last couple games, and the organization is run by a complete retard that loves to waste money. I think for Jimmy he has to make a good impression on the rams and beat Bradford to it, cause if Washington decides to go rb, wr, or any other of the many positions they need I could see Jimmy sitting like Brady three years ago until late first, or god forbid early second.

Not sure exactly the figure but Russells cap number has been described as modest. They could cut him and not take that big of a hit. That said, Al Davis seems to stick with his draft picks.

Seattle doesnt need a coach, unless they are going to fire Jim Mora. Holmgren doesnt coach there anymore.

I believe McShit thinks Clausen doesn't posses the leadership skills to be in the NFL.

Has he watched any games? If he did he would know that JC is a great leader.

McShay just says whatever is opposite of Mel Kiper because it is their schtick and it is why they get paid. He also said Suh was not a very good pass rusher, and I think I saw him sack McCoy 4.5 times in that Big 12 championship.

I think the emergence of players like Percy Harvin, Leon Washington, and Darren Sproles, shows that Tate can be contributing right away to whoever drafts him. I see him as a mid- to late-first round pick.

Outside of Tennessee, New England, New Orleans,New York, Green Bay, San Diego, Houston, Baltimore, and Atlanta, every other team in the NFL needs a QB. There may be things that disrupt them drafting one such as money or other more logical picks, but there really are a lot of crap QBs starting in the NFL.

Golden had to come out. Remember that 2007 class of WRs that included Floyd, Baldwin, Julio Jones at Alabama and Green at Georgia. A bunch of them will be coming out next year. The time is now. I already miss him.

Jimmy goes number one to St. Louis. Tate goes to the Ravens. I would be shocked if Clausen is still on the board after pick #2.

tate = steve smith but a little taller. I would be so pumped if he was on the ravens and then tommy z became a starter.

Yeah and wait till he leads ND to a major win over a top 10 team!

Get a clue , he is not the type someone will take so high to rebuild a team around.

Wait, you tell him to get a clue, and yet EVERY single mock draft out there has him going in the top 10, if not higher. So......since everyone and their mother other than the QB guru Todd McShay and yourself say that Clausen is going very high in the draft (to a rebuilding team), you feel the need to tell HIM to get a clue???

Quick question...what top 10 team did Ben Rothlesberger (sp) lead his team over? Joe Flacco? Kurt Warner? Tony Romo? Philip Rivers? All of those players are successful NFL QBs, and several of them were chosen very high in the draft. Hell, Jay Cutler went to friggin' Vanderbilt and was a mid first-rounder.

Now, when talking about getting a clue, you might want to look in the mirror...
