I am a HUGE ND fan and always will be. I was happy that Weis was let go and thought that anyone could do a better job. But, they would have to be a proven college coach. So when the Meyer and Stoops rumors were/still are flying around, I thought to myself, why would they come to ND? Sure $$$$ is good and all but do they really want to put themselves in the biggest coaching spot light in the country? Sure ND has talent, but what made ND who they were this season (Clausen and Tate) are going to be gone. ND will probably lose some guys on the roster that we need.
Im afraid to say this, but I believe we all will be disapointed with the next coaching hire. I dont see Meyer, Stoops, or Kelly coming to ND. I see the lower level coaches coming. Do we really want that? I dont.
