Clausen doesn't get the credit he deserves, at least in terms of his reads and checkdowns, he did another solid job yesterday, though his critics will no doubt try and jump all over his ass, and point to the fact he only really threw deep once, and that was to Tate in triple coverage, yes it went for a TD, but I can just here Mark "dis" May, already winding up!

All in all not bad. Your yardage percentage was pretty dam close but, 18/30 = 60%, Actual was 22/27 = 81%. We did run a hell of a lot more, which was what i've been hopeing for as well. I liked seeing Christ in there too, he needs more game time playing in 4th Q's. Hopefully he'll get that the next 2 games.

You're probably not going to get "props" on your pick because the only pick you were close with was Clausen's yardage, and its not exactly hard to be close picking passing TDs or Interceptions (you were 1 off with each). You also were correct that we would run the ball more than we would pass it, but considering that we were playing Washington State and were favored by 25+, you really weren't going out on a limb on that one. Unless I'm mistaken, this is also the first time you have picked ND to win a game this year so don't expect people to take you're ND picks too seriously or too give you credit when you're best prediction was coming within 30 yards of Clausen's total passing yards.

correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't you say in an earlier post that stats don't mean anything?

if so, then how can you justify that you were close on your prediction? if stats (like you said) don't mean squat, then your prediction pretty much sucked. the game wasn't even close at all.
