I have a feeling that SC might lose this week. Oregon is hot, ever since losing to Boise State.
I'll be switching during commercials during the ND game Saturday night.....Go oregon...

No, seriously - I can see Oregon vs. Iowa in the Rose - unless ND plays Oregon and Iowa plays Texas or 'Bama a few days later.

Phork - how are you figuring Forcier gets to be coached by DickRod in any of those games?

I hope USC falls again this year. It would be a dream come true if they were a 3 loss team after this game, but I'll take a 2 loss team any day.

SOS isn't going to matter in the end - we are a year away. We will get no respect this year - Gator Bowl. We can go 10-2 and ESPN, writers, coaches won't give us credit. So screw USC.

Go Ducks. Whats the difference between Poodle and Dennis Erickson. Erickson is at a school where they are making him play it straight now. If these two guys switched teams the result under present circumstances would be exactly the same for both schools. Poodle would not excell at ASU if he couldn't operate like he does at southern cal ( love saying that ). Erickson would back on top of college football world if he was allowed to do it at southern cal like it was done a miami. They are both one in the same.

Mark May is 2 - 5 with the Irish predictions - Lou is 5 - 2. I bet he (MM) takes ND over WSU - it'll kill him - he'll be doing his best steroid Erkle smirk. Anyway, his Oregon pick makes me rethink my Oregon pick. If Oregon wins out and ends up in Rose Bowl - Iowa could see possibily be in BCS Championship... then ND could be in Rose if 10-2. I'm just sayin'.

If Oregon wins the Pac-10 i garauntee that USC gets a BCS bid. That leaves 1 spot open for ND or another at large team.

and in competition with us for an at-large BCS spot...not good considering they would most likely get chosen, the Bama/Fla loser will get one, and the higher ranked TCU/Boise will get one too. Probably means a 10-2 ND will be in competition with 12-0 Boise/TCU, whatever team comes in 2nd in the Big 10 (Iowa, PSU, OSU), and Va Tech/Miami if those two finish 10-2 and don't win the ACC.

I think that a USC-Notre Dame re-match in the Fiesta Bowl isn't out of the question. If Texas is in the national championship it becomes an at-large v. at-large game. Talk about epic.

I'm not worried about the at-large bid. Right now it looks like it will be USC, loser of Alabama/Florida, and a mid-major. We would get in above a team like Georgia Tech.
