Our out of conference schedule is pretty weak with the exception of UCLA, but the CIT tourney could prove to be challenging. If we could get through the out of conference schedule with a 10-2 record or better, then we should have a great year. I was expecting an easier in conference schedule, but its certainly more managable than last year.

Well, 18 wins didn't get us in the NCAA last year. If 10-2 (I see us more likely 11-1) then we need to go 10 - 8 in conference.

If we win 2 each against Cinci. & USF and 5 against the other 9 below us (preseason rankng) and get 3 upsets... that's 12 - 6 .... 11 - 7.

I just have great optimism for this team.. I see them winning 12-6 in the Big east. I just have a taste for this team and hope it's not my home made kool-aid.

I agree. They tend to do better when the expectations are lower (probably due to the weaker conference schedule). I'm expecting they'll make the NCAA this year.

Gody keeps them in every game. I dunno we are a bit "soft." I mean a team like West Virginia destroys us because they are so much more physical. Apparently Hansbrough is pretty tough and Nash is always willing to play tough too. Depends on the matchups and how we deal this year playing against a physical team.

ND is about 3 spots out of top 25. I'm going to see new arena Sunday. Lewis or Quincy (exhibition) can't rememer which is 1st or second game.

North Florda game moved to 2:00... couldn't imagine many people at the Joyce/Purcell at 7:00 pm. Mmmm... stadium dogs/just mustard, same day as a later away game!
