All of the Weis haters, USC haters, and Notre Dame ranting sooth-sayers need to straight hang up the keyboard this evening...

We played well. We could have played better. We didn't. We could have won. We didn't. We could have a better coach. We don't. We could be rich. Most of us aren't. We could die. Instead we are alive.

My point is this: In life, we have trials and tribulations. Some you win, some you lose. Today hurt. Now we take the hurt and do something with it. Blowing off steam about what should have been, what could have been, and what will be does no good right now. Right now we reflect on what went well and why. Now we tighten that up and move forward. Tomorrow we look at what we could do to accent what went well.

Tonight we rest easy. We left it on the gridiron. God has blessed us. We are alive and breathing.

Very well put. Thank you for bringing some of the posters on here back to reality. When it comes down to it, in the big scheme of things, this is small potatoes - just ask the family of the UConn D-back who was tragically and senselessly murdered Saturday night. We ARE alive, and thank God for that, because that means we all have the chance to watch our beloved Irish fight on and play! And who could ask for more than that? Go Irish, beat Eagles!
