This USC loss is the final straw to me.
His playcalling worsened throughout the game as he shyed away from what was effective at the start by using the wildcat formation and exploiting #15 deep. As the 4th quarter came the team was demoralized and if it werent for mistakes by U$C we wouldn't have gotten the ball back and started a run.
The playcalling on those last 2 plays is an example of the Charlie Weis Era, given a break and always finds a way to come up short. Considering he called a timeout and had time after the challenge to figure out a play to pick up just 4 yards, he chose to run the same play again.
Charlie can coach out the rest of the season but it doesnt matter, this was our best chance to reach a BCS Bowl Game and our best team since 05' and we once again come up short. We've given Weis 5 years now, time for a change.
